About Me

My name is Andrew Vasquez and I am originally from Yonkers, New York. A few years ago, I made the move out west with my family, and currently reside in Sacramento, California. I've been drawing for around 5 years on and off and I've done a fair share of commissions for friends and family.

I've always been inspired by the endless possibilities that art can bring to life with, at its most basic form, a pencil and paper.  Thousands of works that capture distant worlds and vibrant emotion and movement really made me the artist I am today.

I studied art at College of the Sequoias in Visalia going into Sacramento State University, but even before then, in high school, I've drawn little sketches of video game characters or my own characters.

One of my current influences is an artist named A. Shipwright, a talented panel artist with a wide portfolio and I hope to produce works as much as they do.
